Privacy Policy — Klippo – Video Downloader

Last updated: October 21, 2026

1. Overview

Klippo – Video Downloader (“Klippo”, “we”) is an Android utility (package com.klippo.videodownloader) that lets users save publicly available videos to their own device for offline viewing. This policy explains what data the app handles.

2. Data we do NOT collect

Klippo does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, or phone number, and does not upload your downloaded videos anywhere. Your downloads stay on your device.

3. Data handled on your device

Video links you paste are used only to fetch the video file you requested.
Downloaded files are stored in your device storage (Download/Klippo).
App preferences (e.g. download quality) are stored locally.

4. Advertising

Klippo shows ads via Google AdMob to keep the app free. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID) and usage data to serve and measure ads, per Google’s privacy policy:

Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

5. Permissions we request (and why)

Internet / network state — to download the videos you request.
Storage / media access — to save videos to your device.
Notifications — to show download progress.

6. Copyright

Klippo is a tool for saving content you have the right to keep — your own videos or videos shared publicly with permission to save. Do not download copyrighted material without the owner’s consent. If you are a rights holder and believe content handling violates your rights, contact dmca@klippodownloader.com and we will respond promptly.

7. Children

Klippo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with the app listing. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
