Why download videos from X?
X is where clips break first — highlights, funny moments, and news footage spread there hours before anywhere else. But X has no built-in “save video” button, and posts get deleted or buried fast. Downloading keeps your own copy for offline watching.
Step 1: Copy the post link
- Open X and find the post with the video.
- Tap the Share icon, then Copy link.
- The link looks like

Step 2: Paste it into Klippo

Troubleshooting
- “Video not found” — the post may be from a protected account, deleted, or the link was copied wrong. Double-check the full
status/...URL. - Only low quality offered — the uploader posted a low-resolution file; no tool can upscale beyond the original.
- Link opens the app instead — long-press the link in your browser and choose “Copy link” rather than tapping it.
A note on rights
Only download videos you own, have permission to save, or that are shared publicly for personal, offline use. Re-uploading someone else’s clip as your own violates X’s terms. Klippo is an independent tool and is not affiliated with X Corp. or Twitter.
